Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic medicine treatment. Mesotherapy employs multiple injections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients into subcutaneous fat. Mesotherapy injections allegedly target adipose fat cells, apparently by inducing lipolysis, rupture and cell death among adipocytes. Skin rejuvenation treatment that hydrates the skin from the inside out, giving firm bright rejuvenated results. Replaces vitamins peptides minerals amino acids and hyaluronic acid.
A popular practice since the 1950’s, Mesotherapy involves the micro-injection of specially prepared active ingredients, injected directly into the skin cell. It delivers vitamins into the mesoderm, or middle layer of skin, acting as a “medicinal bullet” that is delivered directly to the target area to restore skin health. It can also be used to reduce cellulite, localizing fat deposits and promoting weight loss, by stimulation of metabolism, local circulation and fat breakdown. It involves multiple injections using a very fine needle placed immediately beneath the surface of the skin into the problematic area/s. Just a “drop” of solution is used at each injection site. Mesotherapy is commonly used to rejuvenate skin on the face, neck, décolletage and hands. Fat reduction can be applied anywhere but most frequently on jowls, chin, legs, buttocks, abdomen and arms.
Mesotherapy can be used to treat the following concerns:
Dull / tired skin
Cellulite and fat reduction
Dark circles around the eyes
Back / Bra-line
How does it work?
A special cocktail of nutrients found naturally in the skin such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins (A, B, C, E, K), minerals and coenzymes and nucleic acids are injected into to the target area to help skin regain its natural elasticity, shape and glow. Since this non-invasive treatment replenishes naturally-occurring substances required by the skin to rehydrate and repair imperfections, the results are quick and long-lasting. Stimulation of the skin tissue helps to firm, tone and restructure skin.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Mild redness may also appear which goes away after a few hours.
Do not expose the skin to the sun immediately after treatment and be sure to use an SPF30+ on the treated area.
How Many Treatments Would I Need?
You will need 6 weekly treatments initially, depending on the area being treated and the skin concern. Once you have completed your initial course you may need occasional ‘top-up’ treatments to maintain results, every 2 months.
What Results Can I Expect To See?
